A Fun app to teach young children the basics of music theory at the keyboard
This is the second level of basic music theory for young children. While emphasis will be on developing skills in music theory, a basic understanding of the principles of playing the piano will also be acquired.
Every section starts with color-coded notes, helping children to identify each key and note by the color and then moving away from colors to black and white keys and notes.
In this level they will
1- Learn to identify the white keys on the piano
2- Learn to read from Bass C to Treble G on the Grand Staff
3- Learn the high and low notes on the piano
4- Learn about half steps
5- Learn about sharps and flats
6- Listen to different rhythms and identify the correct rhythm
7- Listen to melodic examples and identify whether the examples are the same or different
8- A fun game of “saving balloons” where the balloons are notes on the staff and they have to be saved by playing the correct key on the keyboard below before they reach the end of the staff.
